The 4th edition of the 3D Printing Materials Conference, focused on Polymers, took place on February 02, 2017, at Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Sittard-Geleen, The Netherlands. At the same location, on February 01, the 4D Printing & Meta Materials Conference was held.

The conferences brought together over 150 attendees, who gathered to discuss the most disruptive applications of 3D printing and latest developments and applications in the field. They were not purely academic conferences, but innovative events bringing together brilliant minds and discoveries.

Speakers from Shapeways, Ultimaker, Hewlett-Packard, Chemson Pacific/Australia, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, e-Xstream engineering, Promolding, Wageningen University, DSM Research, Pollen AM, NextDent and ACTA talked about the topics in focus.

The titles of the presentations included: 3D-printable PVC; Materials for fused filament fabrication; Materials for HP Multijet Fusion Technology; 3D Printing and the Circular market; Will it print?; How will digital manufacturing change the consumer market and what is needed?; Additive manufacturing simulation solution as enabler for confident lightweight automotive design
